Digital Video Content Parsed into Segments Automatically and Streamed to Users
Systems and methods for automatically parsing digital video content into segments are described. Parsed digital video content is streamed to users for display and browsing.
Content-Based Adaptive Digital Video Content Streaming
The system and method for content-based adaptive streaming of digital video content involves receiving the digital video content. The digital video content is automatically parsed into fundamental semantic units. Video-quality levels are assigned to the video segments based on a set of predetermined content-specific requirements. The video segments are scheduled for adaptive streaming to the users for display.
The system provides content-specific adaptive streaming, in which different video quality levels and attributes are assigned to different video segments that allow higher-quality video streaming over the current broadband.
