Synergistic combination of botanical extracts and synthetics in an alcohol-free antimicrobial and disinfectant

Reducing the transmission of pathogenic organisms is essential in protecting the human body from microbial or viral infections. Traditional products that utilize alcohol-based formulas that disrupt skin’s moisture and pH balance have the significant drawback of stripping away its natural oils, leaving it dry, cracked and susceptible to infection. This technology consists of an alcohol-free solution that harnesses the cleaning power of botanical extracts to produce an antimicrobial that is not only effective at killing germs but maintains the critical balance of oils necessary for further protection. These alcohol-free disinfectants have been shown to be highly effective against most common and deadly infections through a synergistic combination with specific synthetic actives.

Alcohol-free antimicrobials allow for swift and persistent germ killing while maintaining skin’s natural oils and moisture

Preventing the spread of disease begins with personal hygiene and health. Continuous application of alcohol-based sanitizers can cause skin irritation and cracked, susceptible skin. The natural antimicrobial, antiviral and anti-inflammatory properties of botanical extracts allow the current technology to be gentle on the skin while effective against germs. The introduction of botanical extracts synergistically enhances the activity of synthetic disinfectants, and therefore combines the potency of alcohol-based sanitizers while preserving the comfort of your natural skin.

In laboratory experiments, this technology was proven to reduce gram-negative bacteria activity 40-fold when compared with purely botanical or purely synthetic alternatives.
