System for Adjusting Environmental Effects on Displaying Images

The image displayed in the display region can be monitored for accuracy and can be adjusted to correct any errors. Continuous Image Correction Based on Light Ray Data The system for displaying images receives a signal representing a portion of the input image and also information regarding the characteristics of environmental light rays. The characteristic information of the light ray is used to determine the amount of adjustment to be applied to the input signal. The resulting adjusted signal is used to display a corrected image portion in the portion of the display region. The method and system compensates for errors introduced by the display system in the presentation of an image.
