Unmet Need: A natural alternative to synthetic preservatives

Synthetic preservatives are widely used in modern cosmetic and personal care products to prevent microbial growth and extend the shelf life of these products. However, the production of these synthetic chemicals leads to an increase in toxic chemical waste, raising concerns about their environmental impact. Additionally, some synthetic preservatives can mimic hormones, thereby adversely altering human health.
