Single Trial Detection in Encephalography

Interpreting Brain Activity with EEG Cap, Computer An EEG cap to be placed on the head of a subject when viewing the CRT monitor described. A system for interpreting brain activity comprises a high-density array of brain activity sensors for application to the head of a subject and a computer that receives signals from the sensors. The computer is programmed to compute a respective spatial weighting coefficient corresponding to each of the sensors in response to an external stimulus and a weighted signal is generated. The system maximizes performance of a brain computer interface (BCI).
