This technology is NeuroScore AI, an automated AI program that can be used to calculate Alzheimer’s Disease risk score by transcribing audio files from standardized cognitive testing.
Summary standardized risk scores from cognitive tests for Alzheimer’s Disease (AD) can be used to determine disease risk or predict patterns of AD disease progression. The current method for evaluating AD cognitive tests and calculating risk scores is completed manually by evaluating verbal responses from patients using a combination of in-person note-taking and transcription of audio recordings. This process is time-intensive and can result in inaccurate scoring from human-error and biases. There is currently no automated scoring method for AD cognition tests that can accurately calculate risk and incorporate verbal data.
This technology, NeuroScore AI, is an AI-based program transcribes audio files of verbal responses from patients during Alzheimer’s Disease cognitive assessments and integrates responses to calculate disease risk scores. This technology is a standardized, fully automated, and unbiased method of scoring Alzheimer’s cognition tests that eliminates human error associated with manual scoring. This technology can process large datasets of audio files to speed up the time to diagnosis and detects trends across patient data that is otherwise imperceptible to human assessors.
